What about the recovery period of my skin and wearing make-up afterwards?

Meta Therapy allows you to enjoy the benefits and results of a combination of deep treatment methods. Most other deep treatments require a considerable recovery period for your skin, whereas Meta Therapy does not affect the skin’s protective barrier. After the treatment the skin may show some redness, but this will reduce in a matter of hours. You will be able to get back to your daily activities immediately after the treatment and resume wearing make-up the day following your treatment.

Which areas are treatable with Meta Therapy?

You can opt for skin improvement and anti-aging of the whole face, neck and/or neckline, as well as targeted treatments of specific areas such as lines and wrinkles. You may even choose to combine treatments to achieve the best results.

What is the treatment interval?

The treatment always starts with a course of 4 weekly treatments, followed by 4 treatments every 2 weeks, and afterwards, a periodical maintenance treatment to maintain the achieved result. The full facial treatment takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. The wrinkle treatment takes approximately 20 minutes.

What are the differences between a Needle Roller and Meta Therapy?

A needle roller is a cylinder with needles that is rolled over the skin. Since the face is not a flat plane, but is rounded with contours and extremely delicate areas. Not all needles of the roller penetrate the skin to the same depth, nor are they able to take into account the more sensitive or delicate areas. Another factor to take into account is the roller pressure. Too much pressure, and the needles penetrate too deeply, which may result in scar tissue and skin rigidity. Not enough pressure, and the injections are too shallow to work properly. A needle roller also makes significantly fewer micro-perforations due to the limited number of needles. In addition, it is not possible to use it for the targeted treatment of specific wrinkles. On the other hand, the Meta Therapy machine has a small stamp head, easily maneuverable and with controlled needle depth, offering an exceptional result.

Why should I choose Meta Therapy instead of a Needle Roller?

The advantage of Meta Therapy compared to the needle roller is that it not only activates cell regeneration, it also introduces the active ingredients into the skin during the treatment before the skin closes. What’s more, the treatment is considerably more accurate and detailed. The micro-perforations allow for precise control in terms of depth and distance, and have a much greater density. On average, 1800 micro-perforations per second are made into the skin in a painless way, stimulating the healing response whilst introducing the active ingredients into the dermal layer. Meta Therapy also includes special modules for the treatment of specific wrinkles.

What are the differences between Meso Therapy and Meta Therapy?

Deep treatments have a more intensive effect and produce better results than surface treatments. Meso Therapy is a procedure that requires only one needle. The injections with the active ingredients are administered in specific areas, but the distance and depth of the injections are not easily controlled. Because of the larger distance and limited number of injections, Meso Therapy also does not activate the natural cell regeneration within the skin, and therefore is unable to activate the body’s own production of collagen and elastin.

Why should I choose Meta Therapy instead of Needle Roller?

Meta Therapy belongs to the category of deep treatments and combines all the advantages of the different treatments in one technique. The added bonus of Meta Therapy is the introduction of active ingredients into the skin, combined with the natural cell regeneration of the skin as a healing response. The entire area is painlessly treated with 18 micro needles, which are inserted into the skin at high speed, making on average 1800 perforations per second. The easily maneuverable head means no part of the skin need be left untouched. The ultra-precise, computerized depth adjustment also means that Meta Therapy reaches the right cell layers within the skin.

What are the differences between Micro Needling and Meta Therapy?

Fractional needling machines usually have analogue drives, which do not allow for corrections to the needle frequency to accommodate the varying resistance of the skin, resulting in poor and irregular perforations. Perforation density is also important. Micro needling machines generally have needle modules with fewer needles delivering a lower density of perforations. Micro needling machines generally operate without a needle guide, allowing sideward fluctuations or even bend, resulting in inaccurate perforations, and ultimately skin trauma.

Why is the right needle length so important?

The right needle length is very important for the optimal effect. Most micro-needling techniques for anti-ageing facial treatments use needles that are too long, perforating the deeper layers of the dermis. This can cause subcutaneous damage, resulting in skin stiffness and loss of elasticity. Meta Therapy precisely perforates the basal cell layer into the upper layer of the dermis, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin without risk on the development of subcutaneous scar tissue. Meta Therapy is much more effective, safer and there are no unwanted effects with repeated applications in the short or long term.
