Dermatude – Skin Rejuvenation from the Inside Out
100% Natural Skin Rejuvenation Therapy
Dermatude Meta Therapy is a 100% natural, minimally invasive, highly effective skin rejuvenation technique. The digital Meta-Ject machine creates thousands of precise micro-perforations in the skin, causing the body to activate its natural healing response by stimulating the production of both collagen and elastin.
Dermatude Meta Therapy is a 100% natural, minimally invasive skin rejuvenation technique that stimulates the body’s own collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture and softening lines, wrinkles and scars. The digital Meta-Ject machine creates gentle trauma in the form of thousands of micro-perforations, which trigger the skin’s self-repair mechanism. It recovers and heals with new collagen and elastin growth that creates firmer, smoother and younger looking skin.
The treatment also involves the introduction of specially selected active ingredients in the form of serums into the skin, creating a targeted treatment specific to the skin type. This twofold approach restores the skin from the inside out, achieving results that no other invasive treatment can achieve.
Dermatude Meta Therapy shifts the skin’s natural repair mechanism into high gear to produce collagen and elastin. This self-repairing property of the skin is a 100% natural response and form of skin renewal from the inside out.
Collagen, Elastin & Your Skin
Collagen and elastin make up the supporting structure of the skin. Collagen is a protein that give skin its firmness and is a key structural component of the skin, comprising roughly 80% of the dermis. Elastin as the name implies, gives skin its stretch and elasticity. Together these fibres form the matrix of the skin and are responsible for skin characteristics such as texture, strength and resilience. Both these fibres are plentiful in young skin, however as we age and are exposed to the sun, they begin to break down creating gaps and irregularities in the matrix. We see these results as lines, wrinkles and poor skin texture.
The stimulation of collagen production in ageing skin has been shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve the skin texture. Unfortunately collagen & elastin creams cannot penetrate the skin due to their large molecular size. Effective collagen treatment involves the stimulation of the body’s own fibroblast cells to produce it’s own collagen and elastin.
The Ageing Effects on the Skin
A child’s skin is best used to illustrate the perfect example of healthy skin. It is smooth, soft, firm, well hydrated, undamaged, evenly textured and pigmented. The skin starts to show the first real signs of ageing from about the age of 25. The skin becomes thinner, blood circulation deteriorates and the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin starts to slow, causing the skin to lose its firmness and elasticity. This ageing process starts internally within the skin, but is accelerated by external factors such as UV exposure as well as air-conditioning and other air pollutants. Collagen depletion is also affected by hormonal changes, smoking, stress and poor diet.
